Iโm happy to be announcing to you the World Cup Best Play Awards in honor of our World Cup tournament! 
This event allows you to showcase your best plays with the community for a chance to win some shiny gems 
After each World Cup event you will have the opportunity to submit your best plays to enter them for mini best play awards voted by the community.
Winners of mini best play awards will be entered into the main World Cup Best Play Awards, which will be held after the World Cup.
P.S. You donโt even have to record the best plays yourself - you only have describe to us where to find the play and we will record it for you, see How to Submit below for more details.

For each event there will be two categories, โbest offensive playโ and โbest survival playโ:
Offensive play: should focus on stealing and cutting players off.
Survival play: should focus on dodging opponentsโ attacks, making tight passes etc.
It is your responsibility to tell us for which category you are submitting a play.
You will be allowed to submit two plays for each category (4 plays total)

You only need to tell us where to find your play. 
Each play submission must include:

category (i.e. survival play or offensive play)

Submissions will open immediately after each WC event, and will remain open for 5 days.

For main World Cup Best Play Awards:
Best Offensive play 200 gems
Best Survival play 200 gems

Disclaimer: As this is our first time hosting such awards we may make slight changes to the format of the awards throughout the World Cup so that we can figure out what works best. You are more than welcome to flood us with feedback (preferably in DMs, preferably to @Yuri Boyka#9742)
Q&A:
- Can I participate in this contest if I am not participating in the World Cup?
Yes! You can submit a play of another player, just make sure to let us know the in-game name of the player in the clip (if you know their discord handle that will be useful as well!) as well as your in-game name. We will attempt to reach out to the player to see whether they would like your clip to be used in the award to represent them. If they agree, any rewards won by this clip will be split between the two of you.
From the 3rd World Cup event onward the format of the awards will be updated to even better accommodate the participation of the whole community!
- What happens if I submit to the wrong category?
If we decide that your play belongs in another category we will give you the option to move it there. If you have maxed out your submissions for that category then we will allow you the opportunity to swap the mis-categorized play with another one you have submitted for its correct category.
- Why have categories?
To represent different styles of play in the awards.
