Please treat this discussion forum. and anywhere else the Curve Fever community might reside. with the same respect, you would any other public location. We, too, are a shared community resource — a place to share skills, knowledge and interests through ongoing conversation. These rules are not set in stone but merely act as aids to our community’s better judgement. Use these guidelines to keep this a clean, well-lighted place for civilized public discourse.
When providing feedback, posting information, or discussing a topic, please make sure you are being relevant, constructive and polite. We take feedback from all kinds of sources into account, even though we may not have the time to respond to every post or question.
Please note that moderators and staff reserve the right to change/edit/delete/move/merge any content at any time if they feel it is the appropriate action in any situation.
Help us make this a great place for discussion by always working to improve the discussion in some way, however small. If you are not sure your post adds to the conversation, take some time to consider what you want to say and try again later.
The topics discussed here matter to us, and we want you to matter to you, too. Be respectful of the topics and the people discussing them, even if you disagree with some of what is being said.
One way to improve the discussion is by discovering ones that are already happening. Please spend some time browsing the topics here before replying or starting your own, and you’ll have a better chance of meeting others who share your interests.
Always be civil
Nothing sabotages a healthy conversation like rudeness:
- Be civil. Don’t post anything that a reasonable person would consider offensive, abusive, or hate speech.
- Keep it clean. Don’t post anything obscene or sexually explicit.
- Respect each other. Don’t harass or grief anyone, impersonate people, or expose their private information.
- Respect our forum. Don’t post spam or otherwise vandalize the forum.
These are not concrete terms with precise definitions — avoid even the appearance of any of these things. If you’re unsure, ask yourself how you would feel if your post was featured on the front page of the New York Times.
This is a public forum, and search engines index these discussions. Keep the language, links, and images safe for family and friends.
Simply put: "be good, and be good at it."

Help! & FAQ forum
This part of the forum is meant for in-game help and forum help. If you have a question about a forum feature or in-game ability, for instance, then this is the place for you. Before posting a topic, please check to see if there isn’t another thread that discusses the same topic.
Want to report an issue you’re experiencing, such as payment or account related issues? Please do so by getting in touch with us via [email protected]. The Help! & FAQ forum is not meant to serve as tech support. Read more about our support setup at the end of these guidelines.
See a problem? Report or flag it!
Moderators have special authority; they are responsible for this forum. But so are you. With your help, moderators can be community facilitators, not just janitors or police. When you see bad behaviour, don’t reply. It encourages the bad behaviour by acknowledging it, consumes your energy, and wastes everyone’s time. Just flag it. If enough flags accrue, action will be taken, either automatically or by moderator/staff intervention. Please refrain from reaching out to staff or moderators directly; this complicates the process and leaves us less able to act on reports.
In order to maintain our community, moderators reserve the right to remove any content and any user account for any reason at any time. Moderators do not preview new posts in any way; the moderators and site operators take no responsibility for any content posted by the community.
Repeat offenders of the above rules and guidelines will be punished. Any moderator has the ability to officially warn, mute or ban a user for violating the rules at their discretion. If it is determined that your conduct is not in line with these guidelines, the order of punishments will be as follows:
- First official warning;
- Second official warning and short cool-down period account ban;
- Permanent account ban;
- 1 year global IP address ban;
- Permanent global IP address ban.
Questions and support
Do you have a question about our user rules and guidelines or anything else? Please do not hesitate to contact us via [email protected] and we will be glad to help in any way we can.
When contacting support, please mention which Curve Fever-game your matter or claim concerns, and which forum, if applicable. Furthermore, please include as much relevant information as possible, that is related to your request and/or claim. The more information we have, the better equipped we are to help you.
Safeguarding user/player accounts
Take care to safeguard your account, and take reasonable steps to do so. Never give out personal information that might compromise your account. Please also take reasonable steps to secure any other online services you use – such as email addresses – to ensure your account remains in your hands. If your account gets hacked or stolen, it is very difficult to for us to validate your claim as credulous. We recommend a password manager to safeguard your online presence. If you have issues recovering your account due to a lost password, our support department can only assist you if your account is registered to the email address it was created with, you can identify said email address and contact support using that very same address.
Account removal and recovery
Do NOT remove your account, unless you are absolutely sure that you want to. Accounts cannot be recovered. The same goes for titles, purchases or any items, abilities or colours you might have accrued on accounts you chose to remove. As an extension of the same issue, these will not be restored on other accounts you might own. Please, choose wisely when considering removing an account.
Terms and conditions
Yes, legalese is boring but important, because it concerns safeguarding you and your data against people who seek to abuse it. We have general terms and conditions describing your (and our) behaviour and rights related to content, privacy, and laws. To use our services, you must agree to abide by our TAC.

About staff and the moderators
The moderators aim to respond to reports within 14 days of reports being made. Moderators are volunteers who give up their own free time, so they are not obligated to do so. Some cases may take longer to investigate and come to a decision. It is the responsibility of the moderators and staff to be neutral and fair in their decision-making process. They will take action if enough evidence is given to make a reasonable conclusion to support reported claims. They will communicate if any action is taken, and do so on the report topic/thread. Personal information and privacy will be protected in any case or claim.
What should do if I disagree with a moderator's decision?
Do not discuss it on the forum or in a game chat. Email [email protected], where it will be checked by the Hidden Monster Games staff. Harassing or insulting moderators or staff will not be tolerated.
Do not share your accounts
Do not share your accounts with other users. You are responsible for your own accounts. If someone else breaks the rules using your account, you will be held accountable. As an extension of this, we do not support accounts that you may have received from other users, in the broadest sense of the term. This includes, but is not limited to: accounts that you purchased or were gifted to you. If you acquired an account from someone else, in any which way, we can not help you in the event of loss or theft. If we conclude that your account is being used by many different users, you risk permanent account removal. In extreme cases, this could lead to a permanent IP ban.
